Shipping Policy

How much does shipping cost?

Postage is FREE with any order over $200.00

Orders less than $200.00 attract a small postage cost to ship the item to you.  This is based on the weight and dimensions of the product and the destination.

International Shipping

We send our items internationally by Australia Post service. Most packages sent internationally are trackable via Australia Post website or via the website.

What if my order hasn’t arrived in the estimated time?

Please be advised that our delivery time guidelines are based on business days, which only includes Monday – Friday and excludes public holidays.

If you believe your order is outside the specified time range of delivery, and you are having your parcel delivered to a business address, please check the mail room or reception for your parcel.

If your parcel is being delivered to a home address and you have left delivery instructions, please check around your property (such as the meter box, carport etc) for somewhere safe the delivery driver may have left your parcel.

Please check your confirmation email to confirm your delivery address was correct.

How to track your parcel with Australia Post: 

  1. You’ll find your tracking number in the confirmation email sent to you when your order was dispatched.

Ways to ensure you don’t miss your delivery:

Our deliveries with Australia Post are delivered with signature on delivery in most case. 

If you are having your parcel delivered to a work address, please ensure you include your business name and any delivery instructions (eg “Leave at Reception”).

It helps if you give us your mobile number when checking out.  Australia Post will send out SMS alerts when the item is received at Australia Post offices.


You must inform Opal Shop within 7 Days of receipt if you have any problems with your order so that we can reach a solution that is mutually agreeable.  This agreement is null and void if any stones/goods are damaged, or if any attempt has been made to be cut or alter the goods or if they have been dropped or broken while setting.

Special buy-ins or special manufacture are excluded from the Money Back Guarantee.

Other items that cannot be returned are earrings that have been worn or those items which are specifically noted in their description on this website as non-returnable.

If goods are damaged in transit then a refund, credit or exchange will be arranged according to a mutual agreement.

Any refund or claim will be subject to Australia Post paying said damage claim first.

Postage costs will be deducted from any credit amount.

All returned goods must be insured and freight paid.
