These rough opal parcels start their journey from Coober Pedy in South Australia. They are groups of single natural untempered stone bundles. Coming in various shapes, sizes, weights and values.
Rough Opal is the natural form of Opal. It then takes many hours of delicate and precise handling by a skilled lapidarist to shape this material into the wonderous gems that can be seen. Because of this, rough Opal is an excellent bargain for those who wish to try their hand at carving something precious.
“You never know what you may find just beneath the surface.”
