How much does shipping cost?

Orders less than $200.00 AUD attract a small postage cost to ship the item to you.  Shipping is either provided by Australia Post or FedEx.  This is based on the weight and dimensions of the product and the destination.

Orders greater than $200.00 AUD do have free shipping!  Based on the total shipping weight of the order.  The table below shows these differences:

International Shipping

We send our items internationally by Australia Post service or FedEx. Most packages sent internationally are trackable via Australia Post website or via the opalshop.com.au website.

Insurance

Insurance is provided and can be accepted at buyers distretion.  NO INSURANCE NO CONPENSATION
Lost Parcels will not be compensated or refunded.

Tracking My Package

Depending on the service your package is sent by you can track the package using the tracking number you have been provided in your order at the below websites:

What if my order hasn’t arrived in the estimated time?

Please be advised that our delivery time guidelines are based on business days, which only includes Monday – Friday and excludes public holidays.  All delivery times have been taken from Australia posts estimates. We don’t guarantee the time taken to deliver an item. The only control we have is the ability in processing the item and dispatching to Australia Post. Dispatch is generally done with in two days of payment being Monday – Friday and excludes public holidays.

If you believe your order is outside the specified time range of delivery, and you are having your parcel delivered to a business address, please check the mail room or reception for your parcel.

If your parcel is being delivered to a home address and you have left delivery instructions, please check around your property (such as the meter box, carport etc) for somewhere safe the delivery driver may have left your parcel.

Please check your confirmation email to confirm your delivery address was correct.

Taxes and Duties

All Taxes and Duties are at Buyers expense.

How to track your parcel with Australia Post: 

  1. You’ll find your tracking number in the confirmation email sent to you when your order was dispatched.
  2. Enter this tracking number at http://auspost.com.au/track/track.html

Ways to ensure you don’t miss your delivery:

Our deliveries with Australia Post are delivered with signature on delivery in most case. 

If you are having your parcel delivered to a work address, please ensure you include your business name and any delivery instructions (eg “Leave at Reception”).

It helps if you give us your mobile number when checking out.  Australia Post will send out SMS alerts when the item is received at Australia Post offices.
