Boulder Opal from Central Queensland, Australia.

End piece of a Koroit boulder opal nut, very rough on the outside but smooth and patterned on the inside, there are some colour speckles in a nice band all around in an underlayer. Great piece to practice with, good price to start.

The pieces are wet to bring out the colours.
The Ruler is measured in millimetres.
Measurements are generally rounded down and approximate.
